We start with a conversation about the style you love, the space you're filling, and the budget you have in mind. From there, I search the world's finest auctions on your behalf, sourcing each piece personally before it's presented to you. Once you approve a piece, I handle bidding, shipping, and delivery, bringing it directly to you — ready to make your space a truly unique, special one. I will charge based on a percentage of the price or a flat fee, depending on the project, by preliminary agreement.
Most projects I take on sit somewhere between two poles: the ornament and craftsmanship of eighteenth and nineteenth century Europe, and the cleaner geometry of the twentieth century. A room rarely wants only one. A Louis XV commode against a plain modern wall, a pair of Empire sconces above a mid-century console — the contrast is what makes a space feel collected rather than decorated.
French and continental case pieces are where I spend most of my time. Louis XV for its serpentine lines and marquetry; Empire for mahogany, ormolu mounts and a certain severity; Napoleon III for the boulle work, ebonised cabinets and Sèvres-mounted plaques that came out of the Second Empire; Art Nouveau for the cameo glass and whiplash carving of Gallé and his contemporaries. Commodes, bureaux plats, cabinets, bergères and marquetry tables — the pieces that anchor a room.
Art Deco bronzes and furniture — Bruno Zach figures, lacquered case pieces, the machine-age silhouettes that still read as modern. Tiffany Studios leaded and Favrile glass, along with the American and Austrian workshops that worked in the same idiom. Mid-Century Modern pieces, including Murano glass lighting from the Italian houses. And Western works for clients building around a ranch or a Coeur d'Alene sensibility.

Two recent interiors furnished largely through auction. In both cases the pieces were sourced individually over the course of the project, lot by lot, rather than bought as a set — which is what allows a room to look as though it came together over years.
A 1900s classic Paris apartment theme, with Russian, Austrian, Italian and Art Deco elements. Living and dining rooms, bedrooms, and a working office, furnished throughout with sourced case pieces, seating, chandeliers, desks and pedestals scaled to the rooms.
A Paris apartment of that period was rarely furnished in one nationality or one decade. The French bones carry the room, and everything else arrives around them — an Italian chandelier overhead, Russian icons on the wall, Austrian cabinetwork filling in, and by the twenties a few Art Deco lines among them. Sourcing lot by lot rather than buying a set is what lets an interior read as collected over years instead of decorated in a season.

Entry and staircase, living and dining rooms, kitchen and bedrooms — a whole home rather than a few statement pieces, which meant sourcing consistently across categories over an extended period: case furniture, seating, lighting, rugs, icons and artwork.

Grand Tour bronzes — the nineteenth-century reductions of classical sculpture that travellers brought home from Italy — make up the largest group, alongside Persian rugs in Kashan, Bijar, Qom and Kerman weaves. Chandeliers and wall lights run from Louis XV and Empire gilt-bronze to Maison Bagués crystal. Russian icons, oil paintings and works on paper sit under artwork, and the lighting category covers Tiffany Studios and the American slag-glass workshops.
